Community Outreach

Our community and street outreach programs
aim to reduce the spread of HIV/AIDS by
educating the community about the facts and
myths of HIV/AIDS and other sexually
transmitted diseases.

CAARE's staff interacts with "at-risk" people
in their informal settings, where they naturally
congregate. Our staff
can be seen distributing
brochures, free condoms, and flyers to people
in apartment complexes, shopping malls, and
local business and conducting risk reduction
sessions in local prisons, churches and
community fairs.

Community outreach activities include:

· Street and community outreach
· Health fairs
· Pre and post-test counseling
· Presentations
· Risk reduction sessions
· Drop-off stations
