Welcome to CAARE, Inc.

In 1995 two women sat at a kitchen table and

expressed concern about the lack of services
offered to the growing HIV/AIDS infected
population in Durham, North Carolina.

This conversation led to the establishment
of CAARE, Inc., a nonprofit community-
based organization, who's purpose is to
support, educate and empower the HIV/AIDS
infected and high risk population in Durham, North Carolina.

Today CAARE's
Outreach and Prevention program has helped decrease
the spreading of HIV and STDs, by educating many of Durham's high risk
population about the causes and effects of HIV and other sexually transmitted
diseases.
CAARE's Case Management and Transitional Housing programs have helped
hundreds of HIV infected and affected clients lead healthier and more fulfilling
